Our story

At EMSP, we are a firm offering consultancy services in Mechanical and Electrical services for buildings. EMSP was established in Year 2012 and subsequently Engineering Management Solutions Platform Pte Ltd (EMSPPL) was formed in Year 2014.

The primary focus and strength of EMSP and EMSPPL are Licensed Electrical Workers service, design, and project management for new and existing construction for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.

Our office is located at 2 Woodlands Sector 1 #05-29 and the consultancy team is headed by our principal Er Samantha Aw and the LEW services team are headed by our principal Er Poh Jen Lim.

They are both assisted by our dedicated team of engineers. They are also co-partners with several Architects and Structural Engineer firms and can provide one-stop building solutions to all prospective clients.

Er. Poh is a registered Professional Electrical Engineer and Licensed Electrical Worker in Singapore and Chartered Professional Engineer in Australia with over 20 years of experience in mechanical and electrical engineering consultancy. Jen is a very hands-on and experienced on-field engineer and has provided many interesting solutions to solve issues arising in his projects. He was an Associate with m/s WSP Ng Pte Ltd before setting up his own practice m/s EMSP in February 2014.

Er. Aw is a registered Professional Mechanical Engineer in Singapore and Chartered Professional Engineer in Australia with over 15 years of experience in mechanical and electrical engineering consultancy. She graduated with a first-class honor from the University of Melbourne and has worked in Australia in the early years of her career. She has embarked on a wide range of projects from hospitals, sports hubs, aquatic centers, schools, offices, and industrial warehouses. She was a Senior Engineer with m/s WSP Ng Pte Ltd & Mott Macdonald Singapore before joining EMSP as partner.

Er Ng Chyi Huei

Professional Engineer, Electrical (PEB Singapore)

Er Ng worked as a Project Director in an M&E contracting firm for 8 years prior to joining EMSP. He is experienced in managing mechanical and electrical installation projects in critical mission environments and facilities. He oversaw a team of project engineers, coordinators, draftsman and supervisors for installation works of low voltage switchgear, High voltage switchgear and electrical containment.

He is familiar with installation standards and has a keen eye to check for good engineering practices on site. He is an Electrical Professional Engineer and has worked as a supplier, contractor and consultant in his years of experience and he is well-versed in all spectrums of the construction industry.
